Get ready to celebrate Salt Lake City – 1960s style! Wear your go-go boots, bring your dancing moves and join in the fun as Salt Lake City pays tribute to the old Public Library building (now home of The Leonardo) and the era it was built. Entrance to The Leonardo is free of charge.
See new exhibits as well as the iconic architectural features and Doug Snow mural that define the building that opened to library patrons in 1964. Activities and entertainment on the plaza include ‘60s dance and costume contests, ‘60s bands, vintage cars, catalogue card art, comics, community writing workshops and more. The event is free and open to the public.
