*The dates for bowling depend on your bowling alley. For instance mine runs from April 15th – October 1st!

Grizzlies Are In The Play Offs!

 Are you a Grizzlies fan?  If so The Utah Grizzlies are in the playoffs!  If you haven't been to a game now is the time.  They are playing Fresno this weekend.  We were offered tickets and I send my friend with her kids to the game and this is what they said:

IT was a fast paced, exciting game.  We loved the excitement when the Grizzlies scored a goal.  Kids said it is their new favorite sport to attend!

Lucky for us the Utah Grizzlies are in the playoffs and they will be hosting Fresno starting this Friday and Saturday at the Maverik Center!

One of my friends favorites was Grizzbee!  In preparation for the playoffs Grizzbee is going to be around town giving away prizes.  Plus you will be able to get your picture taken with him.  Make sure to follow The Grizzlies on Facebook for more info on where and when you can meet Grizzbee around town.

The Vitamin Shoppe Free Products & Consultations March 1st

What: The Vitamin Shoppe is inviting like-minded health enthusiasts across the country to join in for National Share the Health Day on Saturday, March 1st. From 11am – 2pm (local time) every Vitamin Shoppe store nationwide will offer specialized festivities, such as free product samples and consultations with wellness partners in their communities. The first 50 shoppers at each location will also be treated to a complimentary gift bag full of great health and wellness products. The Vitamin Shoppe stores will be hosting local wellness partners throughout the day, ranging from area gyms and spas to product representatives and health food stores.

Who: The staff of well-trained Health Enthusiast experts will be on hand to help answer any health questions, product specific inquiries, and more.

Cafe Zupas Now Open At The District - Free Desserts And More!

Monday night I was lucky enough to go to a  sneak peek at Café Zupas in The District with my children before they open this Wednesday!

 We loved it!  The food was amazing like normal and my kids where so excited that I let them have dessert.  The employees seem very excited and couldn't wait to help us at our every need.  I tried the Turkey Advocado Panini for the first time and really enjoyed it.  I could leave without the Tomato Basil soup.  (my favorite)  My kids loved the kids meal which includes 2 items and a drink.

Santa Arrives At City Creek Tonight At 7:00 p.m

*I just found out it will be going on rain or shine.  If it is raining Santa will magically appear from the Food Court.  

Santa is coming to City Creek Center! Join the fun and gather for his magical rooftop arrival in Regent Court on November 21st at 7 p.m. Children will get a free light wand (while supplies last) to help guide Santa to a safe landing.

Public Works Building Opens For Tours Tomorrow July 20th

The Grand Opening of the NEW Public Works Building is today!  Which means it will be open for tours starting tomorrow July 20th from 10-6.  It will also be open next week Mon, Tues and Thurs. from 10-4 and next Friday 12-9 and Saturday 10-6.

It looks like they will have a lot of activities and I can't wait to see inside the new building and learn all about all the new technology inside.

Homestead and Zermott Memorial Weekend Activities

The Zermatt and Homestead resorts will celebrate Memorial Day with a weekend of celebrations, providing fun for the whole family from Thursday, May 23, through Saturday, May 25.

Events
The Homestead and Zermatt resorts will celebrate the beginning of summer with a Cajun flair. Z’s Steak and Chop Haus at the Zermatt will present an elegant Cajun dinner featuring a variety of New Orleans inspired dishes and local’s favorite Chateaubriand on Thursday night. And, on Saturday, the Homestead will host the 2nd Annual Crawfish Festival featuring an authentic crawfish boil including fresh, live crawfish, blue crab with drawn butter and more as well as live New Orleans-style music.
Weekly summer events will also commence Memorial Day weekend at the Homestead, including Cowboy Campfires and the 11th annual Welcome Home Concert Series. Both events are free to the public and take place each Friday and Saturday throughout the summer. Listen to Joshua Creek, inspirational country artist, performing at the kickoff concert on Saturday, immediately following the Crawfish Festival.  

Pricing and Information
Zermatt Resort Z’s Steak and Chop Haus Cajun Dinner: Thursday, May 23; $49 per person; wine pairings available for additional charge. Advanced reservations required: 866-643-2015.
Homestead Resort Cowboy Campfires: Every Friday through Labor Day at 8:30 p.m. The events are free.

Homestead Resort Crawfish Festival: Saturday, May 25, from 3 to 7 p.m. The event is free, but there is a charge for food and drinks. The crawfish boil is $25 for adults, $12 for ages 6 to 12 and $5 for 5 and under. Alcoholic drinks will be available for purchase. Tickets are available in advance at HomesteadResort.com or Facebook.com/HomesteadResortUT or can be purchased day-of at the event.

Homestead Resort Summer Concert Series: Every Saturday through Labor Day at 7 p.m. Picnic dinners, including classic summer favorites, are available for preorder by calling 866-937-6288. Onsite concessions will also be available for purchase. A Special Summer Concert room package is also available and includes a guest room, picnic blanket and concert picnic dinner. Day Out With Thomas At Heber Valley May 24-27th

Heber Valley Railroad is hosting the Day Out with Thomas: Go Go Thomas Tour 2013 this Memorial Day weekend, May 24-27. The approximately 25-minute train ride with Thomas the Tank Engine will depart every 45 minutes, rain or shine, with varying departure times each day.
Day Out with Thomas is a fun-filled and exciting way for children and adults to enter the world of Thomas & Friends. Children will ride along with their favorite engine friend on his latest adventure and have their picture taken with Sir Topham Hatt, the controller of Thomas’ railway. In addition, there will be a Thomas & Friends Imagination Station where children can build with Mega Bloks and participate in other Thomas-themed activities.
Day Out with Thomas in Heber City has become a popular Memorial Day weekend event over the years. Day Out with Thomas 2013 activities include:

• A 25-minute (approximate) ride with Thomas the Tank Engine
• Games and activities
• The opportunity to meet Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of the Railway
• A Thomas & Friends Imagination Station, featuring stamps, temporary tattoos and hands-on arts & crafts activities
• Commemorative activities, merchandise and giveaways
• Magic show, balloon twisters and face painting

Tickets for the Day Out with Thomas:
