One thing my son loves to do is build and use his imagination. He is all about Transformers, Star Wars and Legos. When I was asked to review the new Transformer Construct-Bots I had to say yes! I didn't tell him they where coming and oh boy was he happy when I gave him the package to go play.

My son was so excited to build it and he stayed focused for over 2 hours working on it. The best part was it challenged him. He kept changing it from Transformer to car. He loved how he didn't have to take it apart to do this. Plus, all the pieces are interchangeable with other Construction Bots! This has quickly become a new favorite item in our house.

After he was done he played with it for a long time as well! Then he tore it apart and rebuild it. Then the next morning it did it again! I don't remember a toy that has kept his attention for so long other then electronic devices.
I would definitely recommend this for any child who is good at putting things together. My son did need help the first time. But, after that he has done it several times himself. He loves putting things together and taking them apart so this has been perfect for him. I also like that it comes in a nice case to store the transformer pieces in. Because there are a lot of them.
