Do you shop at Smith's Food Stores or Smith's Marketplace? If so, they are making a few changes to the Fresh Values Point system. Starting April 1st they will no longer have the gold envelope which means that your savings will be on fuel savings not in a form of a coupon. They will still have the coupons in the mail (which I love). But all points will go towards your Fuel purchase.
I personally love saving money on gas especially, with all the driving I do to kids activities. One big change is the points will no longer be good for the quarter but just for the month. For example points earned from April 1 - April 30th will expire May 31st. Don't forget to use your savings!
This is a little break down on how the savings works. 100 points = $.10 off and you can earn up to $1.00 off per gallon up to 35 Gallons! If you are wondering which Shell Gas location except the Fresh Value Savings you can head over here.
There will be brochures in the stores starting on Wed with all of the new information with a question and answer section. Don't forget before you go to the store to load your Ecoupons to your card for more savings. (You can not combine a paper coupon with an ecoupon) They have had some really good coupons lately.

ReplyDeleteI use my fresh rewards card all the time to save on gas! It's amazing how quickly the points rack up. I usually save about 40 cents a gallon when I fill up every few weeks!

ReplyDeleteDon't forget to mention the regular 2x points on gift card purchases--AND every so often (like right NOW) they do 4x points on gift cards--we buy subway, little ceasar's pizza, and mcDonald's--since we eat there regularly, we get the points too!

I don't usually get gas at Smith's -- the one we usually go to does not have a gas pump, I don't think.
