Have you red the book "What to Expect When You Are Expecting?" I know I sure did! I couldn't stop reading it with my first pregnancy because I had no idea what to expect. It sure did answer a lot of question for me. I will say I was clueless.
I remember a few things I was expecting: Morning sickness (not bad with my first), heartburn and being tired. What I wasn't expecting: High Blood Pressure, Bed rest and my love for Peanut butter. I couldn't get enough of the stuff!

ReplyDeleteI expected things to go a lot easier this time (I have 2 other kids). However, it's been 5 years since my last child and it's like I'm pregnant for the first time all over again. All the fears and complications have come to surface like they did with previous pregnancies. I'm constanty online asking questions and trying to find comfort with symptoms and fears through others in forums, etc. I also expected to not show as quickly (I'm almost 3 months and my belly is HUGE). I was able to "hide" my pregnancies until at least 5 months with the other 2 kids. I guess it comes with being older and due to the fact my body has "been there done that" previously :)

ReplyDeleteI didn't expect to go over my due date. I thought that was the end and i was counting down to that specific day (or earlier) I never expected to go 7 days over. Wow that was a long week.
