Foster Farms just launched a Facebook Sweepstakes HERE that you can enter for a chance at FREE Groceries and cash prizes! This “Say No to Plumping” Sweepstakes is designed to encourage consumer awareness of the USDA allowing chicken that has been plumped (the practice of injecting fresh chicken with saltwater) to be labeled as “Natural”. They are also encouraging consumer action toward making sure that only truly natural, never plumped chicken is labeled “natural” and you can get involved by signing their petition HERE.
This is a tiered sweepstakes, and as their fan base grows, the value of the sweepstakes prizes will increase. To enter the sweepstakes, you will need to become a fan of the ‘Say No to Plumping’ Facebook page HERE, then enter your email address. While they would love for you to sign their petition as well, it is not a requirement to enter the sweeps.
There will be 2 phases of winner selection. In the first phase, as soon as Foster Farms has reached 50,000 fans, they will randomly select 3 fans to receive prizes of $1,000, $500 and $250. In the 2nd phase- once their page reaches 100,000 fans, one lucky fan will win a year’s supply of groceries (a $5,000 value) and two others will receive prizes of $2,000 and $1,000.
